Smart Pricing: Set Your Rates Once, Not Every Time
Pricing every available flash design one by one gets old fast, especially when rates are pretty consistent by size. Smart Pricing fixes that: artists set up a pricing table once, and every new design gets priced automatically from there.
The Problem It Solves
Most artists already have a rough sense of what they charge by size. A small piece is one range, a forearm-sized piece is another, and pricing rarely changes design to design. But without a system for it, every upload still means opening a price field and typing a number in by hand.
That's not just repetitive, it's where mistakes creep in. A rushed price on a busy day, a number that doesn't match what was charged for something similar last week. Small inconsistencies that are easy to miss and annoying to fix later.
How It Works
Smart Pricing lets artists build a table once: a size range in, a price range out. Once it's set, every new design gets priced automatically the moment it's uploaded and its size is entered.
A table might look like this:
Artists can set the table for black & grey and add a color multiplier on top of the base table if color pieces run higher. A 20cm+ color piece, for example, might range €540–€900 instead of €450–€750 — calculated automatically once the multiplier is set.
Session count and estimated duration can be tied to size too, so a new upload doesn't just get priced, it comes with a realistic sense of what booking it will take.
Still In Control
Smart Pricing is an option, not a requirement. Artists who'd rather price each design individually can still do that, design by design, exactly as before.
And the table isn't locked in once it's set. Rates go up, styles shift, a size range needs adjusting — any of that just means updating the table, not re-pricing every design that's already live.
Why It Matters
The time saved isn't really about pricing itself, it's about what pricing was blocking. A design that isn't priced isn't bookable, and every design sitting unpriced in a camera roll or on an iPad is real work that clients can't get to yet. Smart Pricing removes that step, so uploading a new design and having it live and bookable can happen in the same few seconds.
